June Upton Bryson left this life of being bedridden for over six years to walking the streets of Heaven at Greenville Memorial Medical Center on Thursday, June 29, 2006.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Mary Carson Upton.

Mrs. Bryson was retired from Graham Photo and was a member of Washington Avenue Church of God.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Ken Bryson of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Joe Gibbs of Greenville, Kim and Pete Bailey of Greenville; one granddaughter, Jennifer Gibbs; two grandsons, Corey Gibbs and Drew Bailey; three sisters, Carolyn Cantrell, Betty Dill, and Linda Davis of Greenville; and two brothers, Charles Upton of Charleston and Bill Upton of Columbia.

Memorials may be made to Washington Avenue Church of God, 101 S. Washington Avenue, Greenville, SC 29611.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2006, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 3, 2006, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home of a daughter, Kim Bailey, 11 North Garden Circle.
