Lyman, SC - J. B. "Brit" Bryson died Friday, June 17, 1960 in Greer Hospital at 5:50 a.m. following two years of declining health and a serious illness of three weeks. Native of Tennessee and the son of the late James and Delia Rollins Bryson. Moved to Greenville, SC in 1904 and made his home in Piedmont for a number of years. He was a resident of Lyman, SC for 34 years and was a member of the Lyman Wesleyan Methodist Church. Survivors included: his wife, Mrs. Margie Blackstone Bryson; one daughter; one son; and six grandchildren. He was 57 years of age at his demise and interment was in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
