John Buber, 76, of Monroe Township died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Applegarth Care Center, Monroe Township.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Mr. Buber moved to Monroe Township in 1967. Mr. Buber was employed for over 20 years as an inspector at the Delco Remy Battery Manufacturing Plant, New Brunswick, retiring in 1998. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 253, Spotswood Memoiral VFW Post. Mr. Buber was also a member of the Jamesburg Senior Citizens.
He was predeceased by his son, Mark J. Buber, in June 2006. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Teresa Nowicki Buber; a daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Thomas Romatowski of Highland Park; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Raymond Mrasz of Jersey City, and a grandson, Erik Romatowski.
Private services and burial have been arranged by gthe Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg.
