Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon for Mr Albert Fletcher Bullard Sr, whose death occurred Wednesday Oct 18. Interment was made in Magnolia. Mr Bullard was born in Steadman, NC on Sep 1 1879. Early in 1900 he moved to Geneva Co. where he became associated in naval stores with his uncle the late B F Bullard, Alex Seasons, and Charley Matthews. In 1908 he married Miss Euphie Autry of Steadman, NC who died in 1916. Children of this union were Mrs Catherine Cooper & Sara Brooks, a son Lt A F
Bullard, a grandson James Fenimore Cooper, Jr. Mr Bullard and his second wife were married in 1923; children of this marriage were John and 2 daughters Virginia & Janet.
Other survivors were 4 sister Mrs J C Bryant, Mrs A B Watson, Miss Retta Bullard, and Mrs L F Alderman; brothers Dr John Bullard and H H Bullard.
