MENDENHALL -- Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Mary Blair, 80, of Rt. 4, Mendenhall, who died Monday at the Simpson General Hospital after a lengthy illness.
The Rev. Calvin Ragland and the Rev. Boyd Martin officiated. Interment was in the Magee Cemetery.
Mrs. Blair was a member of the Cross Road Holiness Church.
She is survived by five sons, Clarence Reeves of Laurel, Melvin Reeves of Forest, James Reeves of Mendenhall, Charles Reeves of Magee and J. D. Reeves of Meridian; a daughter, Mrs. Ella M. Blair of Mendenhall; three step-sons, Willie L. Blair of Magee, W. A. Blair of Mendenhall and Thomas Blair of Brandon; four step-daughters, Loree Howard of Hattiesburg, Louise Reeves of Mendenhall, Pauline Powell of Raleigh and Dorothy Ivey of Quitman; 35 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren ; and three sisters, Mrs. Janie Sullivan of Mt. Olive, Mrs. Annie Bell Russell of Texas City, Tex. and Mrs. Susie Camp of Stock Bridge, Ga.
