Upon retirement, Alice and her husband Bob traveled the US. extensively, eventually settling in pictureque Pacific City.
Always smiling and laughing, Alice was a happy and compassionate person who had a very special place in her heart for animals. We miss you Mom!
Alice is survived by Bob, her loving husband of 33 years; sons, Dennis Mattocks and his wife Gerri of Foster City, Ca., and Dale Hadley and his wife Betty Ann of Fresno; a loving sister, Helen Young of Oregon; and brother, Erv Austin of California; beloved grandchildren, Kathy Donath and her husband Rob, and Karen Morgan; and four great-grandchildren.
A private Family Service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery on Monday, May 11, 2009, at 11:00 a.m.
