He was the husband of the late Ann Hann Burke.
He was an Army veteran, having served from 1965 to 1967. He was a horse groomer for many years.
He was a member of the Moose and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Westminster. He enjoyed fishing and trips to Charlestown, and he especially enjoyed the horses.
Surviving are friends Evelyn Kaufman of Westminster, Rita, Rodger and Kyle Forbes, Shirley Sterner of Manchester, and Mike and Bernie Finn of Taneytown.
There will be a military memorial service at 10 a.m. July 16, at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills.
