CARTHAGE- Beulah "B" (Burke) Baker, 63, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the University Hospital in Syracuse.
"B" was a remarkable woman who will be greatly missed by the many people she has touched.
She was born April 1, 1949, in Carthage, NY to beautiful, loving parents, Melvin J and Edna B (Taylor) Burke, who have also passed on. Three of her brothers, Patrick, James, and Edmund are also deceased and we believe they all were there waiting to welcome her home.
She had great spirit and her smile warmed us all. She loved her children, Mary Lynne Martin, Gary Allen Baker, Tina Marie Baker, Patrick James Wiley, her long time parter, Larry W Baxter and his children, Larry W Baxter, JR; Kimberly Ann Washington, Jennica Marie Baxter, and Christopher Adam Baxter.
Also sad to see her leave us so soon are her surviving sisters, Sharlene Britton, Faye Matthews, and her brother, William Burke. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, Chloe Elise Martin and a numerous nephews, neices, cousins, and friends whom she adored and cherished.
"B" was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, Carthage and attended Augustinian Academy.
