She married Jacob Howard Becker 16 October 1878 in Chicago, Illinois, in the hotel owned by Jacob's father. The couple had 6 children: Amanda A. (June 1878-20 Mar 182); Lizella "Nellie" (5 Jul 1883-20 Jul 1966); James Howard (9 Jan 1885-16 Jul 1885); Catherine "Esther" (25 Dec 1886-26 Jul 1957)' Frances Mabel (31 Dec 1890-28 Sep 1958); and Edith "Blanche" (5 Dec 1893-6 May 1961).
