Memorial services for Alice Burleigh Atkins Bennett will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at 12 Noon at the gazebo of Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart FL.
Mrs. Alice Bennett, who was 83 and a long time resident of Stuart, FL, died on Jan 5, 2015.
She was born Jan. 11, 1931 in Nyack, NY, the daughter of Alice Ives Frazier and Richard Cecil Burleigh.
Alice was married to William Randolph Bennett, who died in 1999.
She was a trained nurse and had been working for Treasure Coast Hospice for many years.
Surviving her are two sons and a daughter: Michael Atkins and Philip Atkins of WPB, and Deborah Winkler of South Carolina. Three stepdaughters: Susanne Bennett-Williams of Nassau, Bahamas, Carol B. Schaming of Stuart, FL, and Cynthia Coleman of Juno and one stepson: James Bennett of Jupiter, FL.
Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
