Born on August 6, 1984 in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Steve and Jan (Theobald) Burnett. Andy graduated from Waseca High School in 2003 and later graduated from Riverland Community Technical College in Albert Lea to work as a Construction Electrician. Andrew married Jill Tilderquist July 18, 2009 in Lake Mills, Iowa. Through the years, Andy worked at Menards, Hy-Vee and Itron before working in his current position as an electrician with Valley View Electric in New Ulm. His hobbies and interests included hockey, golf, reading, computer games, hunting, Vikings football, and participating in various fantasy sports leagues. In addition, Andy's most special times were spent with his family, friends and the family dog "Zoe".
He is survived by his wife Jill of New Ulm; parents, Steve (Jan) Burnett of Waseca; brother, Jeff (Emily) Burnett and their children Luke and Cora of Rochester; maternal grandmother, Caroline Theobald of Albert Lea; father and mother-in-law, Bruce (Kathy) Tilderquist of Cannon Falls; maternal grandmother-in-law, Clarice Seim of St. Louis Park; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don (Pat) Burnett and Robert Theobald, grandparents-in-law, Omer Seim and Conley (Jean) Tilderquist.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. and continue on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Christ Community Church in Waseca with Pastor Chris Johnson and Pastor Howard Lundeen officiating. Private burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca
