Geneva (Matthews) Bush, age 97, of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of the late Horace S. Bush, entered into eternal rest on Monday June 28, 2010 in her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on July 22, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Matthews and was a lifelong city resident. Survivors include her three sons, Ronald Chavis of Stratford, Horace (Sonny) Bush of Bridgeport and Charles Bush and wife Bambi of Branford; one daughter, Marion Bonaparte of Monroe; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, Ruth A. MacCalla. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday June 30, 2010 at 10 a.m. DIRECTLY in St. Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Ave. Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial.
