Miss Bushfield was born August 31, 1884 in Iowa and came to Hand county in 1886 with her parents. She received her schooling at Miller and was active in many organizations, serving as clerk of the Miller School Board 35 years. She also was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Chapter AK PEO and Crescent Chapter OES. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fred Hoffman, St. Paul. Her parents and one brother, Harlan J. Bushfield, preceded her in death.
