Mrs. Allen was born April 3, 1909, in Latah. Her maiden name was Bushnell.
She lived in Wauconda and Latah in her youth, moving to Clark County with her husband, Lester, in 1942 to work during World War II.
They lived in Battle Ground, Vancouver and La Center. After her husband's death in 1983, she lived in Ocean Park for several years before returning to Vancouver in 1995.
A devoted homemaker, she enjoyed her friends and neighbors, gardening and sewing. She was a charter member of Battle Ground Eagles No. 2731.
Mrs. Allen also was preceded in death by four grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Beryl Carner of Crooked River Ranch, Ore., and Marian Korhonen Quatier of Vancouver; four sons, Robert of Colville, Arnold and Eldon, both of Vancouver, and Richard of La Center; one sister, Elaine Zutter Campbell of Twisp, 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with interment following.
