ALIFF, Marsha B., 38, of Roanoke, died Thursday, April 28, 1994, at her home after a long struggle with AIDS. She is survived by her father and mother, James E. and Agnes Marie Bushnell, Roanoke; two daughters, Anne Marie Silbaugh and Thalia Elizabeth Aliff both of Roanoke; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Cindy Bushnell, Vinton, Joseph and Margaret Bushnell, Roanoke; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Roger Andrews, Vinton, Lorretta Duncan and Rodney Parker, Roanoke; beloved former husband, David Silbaugh, Roanoke; beloved special friends, Clifford, Alice (Nana) and Stafford Dawson and a number of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff from the Roanoke AIDS Project and her nurse and friends Chuck, Alan and Michael who gave her very devoted care during her long illness; also a very special thank you to Alice (Nana) Dawson who loved and cared for her for the past five years. Funeral services will be from Oakey's North Chapel 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 1994, with the Rev. Keith Merkey and the Rev. David A. Yingling officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Troutville, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
