Daughter of Sir William de Beauchamp, Lord Bergavenny and Joan FitzAlan Arundel. Grand daughter of Thomas de Beauchamp and Katherine de Mortimer, Richard FitzAlan and Elizabeth de Bohun.

Wife of James Butler / Botiller, 4th Earl of Ormond. Mother of:
* James Butler, 5th Earl of Ormond, 1st Earl of Wiltshire
* John Butler, 6th Eral of Ormond
* Elizabeth Butler m John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, her line would lead to George Talbot, keeper of Mary Queen of Scots

Joan died at the age of 34 in Dublin, and was buried in the Church of St Thomas of Acon which was destroyed in the great fire of London, 1666. Her husband would remarry, to Lady Joan FitzGerald.
