Amanda was the daughter of Richard Butler and his wife, Sally W. Jones Butler.

Edward married Anna W. Smith on April 19, 1900 in Catskill, NY, the bride's hometown. Edward was 30 years old and a Plumber.

Medora E. Batchelder 1874 - 1891
Medora died at age 16 from Consumption.

Amanda's husband, Ransom, committed suicide in 1883.
Her daughter Medora died in 1891.
Amanda died in 1892, a widow, at age 50 years, 1 month and 11 days, of Pneumonia, back where she started life, in Pelham, NH.
She is buried near her brother, Charles's wife, Mary and their son, John.
