Jeanne M. (Butler) Anderson, 80, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Milford Care & Rehabilitation.
She was the beloved wife of the late Norman F. Anderson.
Born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1929 she was the daughter of the late James F. and Mary L. (Goss) Butler.
Loving mother of Deborah J. Power and her husband, Walter, of Bellingham, MA, Robin M. Gautreau and her husband, Ronald, of Blackstone, MA, Kristin K. Rivard and her husband, David, of Cumberland, RI and the late Karen J. Anderson; and also leaves her 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frank J. Butler, Joseph R. Butler, Evelyn M. Downey, Phyllis A. Walsh, and Rena M. Butler.
A resident of Blackstone since 2002, she was formerly of Bellingham and Dorchester, MA. Mrs. Anderson was the manager and buyer at Priscilla of Boston Bridal Store for 11 years retiring in 1959. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 21, at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Brendan's Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
Visiting time Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jeanne M. Anderson may be sent to Caritas Hospice, 3 Edgewater Dr., Norwood, MA 02062 and would be appreciated.
