Estellene was the daughter of Charles R. and Rosetta Wishon Butler (daughter of John Riley Wishon and Harriett Frances Lewis).

She married Clarence E. Millard in between 1923 and 1927. Sadly, in 1942, he was tragically killed in a mining accident, leaving behind his wife to raise their children alone. They had the following children before Clarence passed away:

Clarence Eugene Millard, Jr. 1927-1928
Richard David Millard 1929-1930
Donald Gene Millard 1931-2017
Earl Edward Millard 1932-2017

Her second husband was George Henry Ashbaugh, married Feb. 1953 in Las Vegas, NV., who is buried by her side in Shafter Memorial Park.
