Jean Cadman Astle, 87, died April 25, 2012 at South Wind Hospice, Pratt.

She was born June 3, 1924 at Moscow, Kansas, the daughter of James H. and Ila F. Lindsey Cadman.

She moved to St. John in 1964, where she was a homemaker and former Aide for St. John Hospital. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend.

On November 11, 1949, she married Bill Astle in Hutchinson. He survives.

She is survived by a daughter, two sons and spouses, two sisters, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Harold Jr., Phillip and Paul Cadman and a sister Barbara Ervin.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday April 26, 2012 at Minnis Chapel, St. John with Rev. Jim Strasen, presiding. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in the Laurel Cemetery with Lla Traylor presiding.

In lieu of fowers, contributions may be made to South Wind Hospice in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St John, Kansas 67576
