HIGH POINT- Janie (Cadwell) Adair, 76, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Westchester Village at Providence Place.
She was born on October 14, 1936 to the late John Wesley and Maggie (Ethridge) Cadwell. She was a former employee of Hunter Farms.
Mrs. Adair loved to travel, especially to Hawaii. She also enjoyed shopping, and attending church social events and day trips.
She was an active and faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, Archdale.
Mrs. Adair is survived by a sister in law, Montana Texas "Pat" Wiggins of St. Augustine, FL; seven nieces and nephews, Robert Darren Wiggins and his wife, Donna of St. Augustine, FL, Ronald David Wiggins and his wife, Summer of Gainesville, FL, Deborah Ann Gravitt and her husband, Keith of Gainesville, FL, Teresa Houchens of Gainesville, FL, Kenneth Ray Cooley of St. Augustine, FL, Thomas Cooley and his wife, Judy of Jacksonville, FL and Anita Faye Robinson and her husband, Gary of Martin, KY; and several great nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church, Archdale with the Pastor Dave Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 206 Trindale Road, Archdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 5744 Mendenhall Road, Archdale, NC 27263.
