Mrs Elizabeth Cadwell Peck, former Rockford resident, died Friday at the home of her son, John P Peck, Elgin, IL, after a long illness. Burial in Bluff City Cemetery.
The widow of Harry L Peck, she was born in Creston, July 12, 1866 and lived in Rockford about 25 years ago when her husband was associated with the Carty-Dever Company. Later, they lived in DeKalb, Rochelle, Morrison and Steward, where Mr Peck was a live-stock buyer and meat market operator. She had been residing in Elgin since shortly before his death 8 years ago.
Other survivors: four brothers, William H and Frank A, Rockford and T Y and Benjamin Cadwell, Portland, OR.
