Vonda Hilda Kirkham Mendenhall Caine "Our Gramma" Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away January l4, 2005. She was born in Grace, Idaho July l4, l924 to John and Hilda Hawkins Kirkham and moved to the Salt Lake Valley in l956. She fought until the very end.
She was a hard working farmer with a hand for healing and a love for animals. She worked as a home health aid while maintaining a farm and raising her family. She was great at healing animals and people.
Survived by daughters, Kathy Draper, and Charlotte Kirk; son, Lynn Mendenhall; l5 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; all brothers and sisters; and two sons, Alan and Larry (Butch) Mendenhall.
Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, January l9, 2005, 11 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home l2600 So. 2200 W. where friends may call one hour prior. Internment in the West Jordan Cemetery.
