Marjorie Louise Caine Cummings, died peacefully on January 7, 2000.

She was born to Albion William (Todd) Caine and Marie Hagman, on August 11, 1915. Attended Salt Lake City schools, graduating from East High School in 1932. Married Julian William Cummings on April 12, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, later divorced in 1973.

Employed at M.S.T.&T. as an operator. Studied under Grace Nixon Stewart and gave dramatic readings throughout Salt Lake City. Lived in Salt Lake City and Clearfield, Utah, and Mesa, Arizona, where she had callings in Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society. Had a 41 year battle with rheumatoid arthritis and is reunited with loved ones who preceded her in death.

Survived by daughter, Chana; son, Nicholas; grandson, Bill Cummings (Donna); and great-granddaughter, Krystal; also many loving family members. Special thanks to: LDS Hospital , Federal Heights Rehab, Dr Margaret Hecht, Personal Touch Transportation, CNS Community Hospice. Love always to Romania, Marie, Karen, Doug and Dr. Amie.

Funeral services will be 12 noon, January 11, 2000, at the 21st Ward, 680 2nd Avenue. Friends may call at the ward from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
