Lillian (nee Calder) Barry, 97, of Manahawkin, formerly of Woodcliff Lake and Paramus, continued her journey to Life Everlasting on Tuesday, September 15, 2009. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Park Ridge and prior to her move to Manahawkin, the Rhoda Circle at the Church, the Pascack Valley Hospital Auxilliary and the Park Ridge and Woodcliff Lake Golden Agers. Lillian loved doing daily crossword puzzles and Sudoku. Holidays were so important to her and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren all had unusual and personalized gifts that she painstakingly and lovingly made or chose just for each one. She will always be remember as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Lillian will be greatly missed. Her passing is greatly mourned by her sons James Barry and his wife, Patricia of Manahawkin, NJ, Robert Barry and his wife, Diane of Lakeville, PA, her grandchildren, Kristen Ricciardelli, Lauryn (nee Barry) Hughes, Sean Barry, Brendan Barry, Shannon Goodwin, and Tara Guerrier, and her great-grandchildren, Justine, Kayla and Jenelle Ricciardelli, Riley Hughes, Shane, Tristan, Liam and Megan Barry, Justin and Christian Goodwin, Marek Guerrier and Jordan and Haley Sabino. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Patrick Barry, her brother Charles Calder and her sisters Evelyn Basile and Isabell Jensen. Visitation was offered on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. The funeral service was officiated in the funeral home on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 10 AM. Interment followed at George Washington Memorial Park.
