Virginia C. Long-Callaway, 93, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 12 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom Hospice or Alzheimer's Association . Virginia was a longtime resident of the Fort Worth area and was a retired legal secretary. She was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church and an accomplished painter, quilter and loved gardening. Virginia was preceded in death by husband, Smokey Callaway, and grandson, Jeremy Long. Survivors: Sons, Bill and wife, Glenda Long, Brett Long and daughter-in-law, Yvonne Long,, and Blake and wife, Kathy Long; sisters, Jeanette Bradley and Annette Ernst; grandchildren, Melanie and Tony Retana, Heather and MacKenzie Long, and Katy and Matt Boughton; and great-grandchildren, Julian and Aubriella.
