Jo-Ann E. Jo-Jo (Campbell) Brouwer-Vando, age 59, of Quincy, died peacefully, Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at the Quincy Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dorchester, raised and educated in Dorchester schools and has lived in Quincy for thirty years. Jo-Jo was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, hairdressing and styling. She was devoted to her family and especially to her grandchildren. Beloved wife for thirty-six years of Joseph G. Vando. Devoted mother of Peter H. Brouwer and his wife Lauren of Holbrook, Carol M. Brouwer of Quincy and her fiance Michael Terrio, Joseph G. Vando Jr. and his wife Meghan of Randolph. Loving grandmother of nine cherished grandchildren. Also survived by four sisters and one brother. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Friday, Dec. 2 at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 5 | 8 pm. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
