Mary M. (Campbell) Bousquet, 91, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after a brief illness. Her husband, Francis L. Bousquet, died in 2002. She leaves three sons, David L. Bousquet of Millbury and his fianc Sandra Arsenault, Michael J. Bousquet and his wife Judith of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Francis L. Bousquet and his wife Suzanne of Southbridge; a daughter, Anne B. Clarke and her husband James of Hingham; eight grandchildren, Aimee Conroy and her husband Gregory, Kristin Pington and her husband Matthew, Danielle Martinez and her husband Luis, Jack Clarke, Christie Clarke, Daniel Bousquet and his wife Emily, Bonnie Bousquet and Renee Bousquet; seven great-grandchildren, Max, Kelsey, Ashley, Anthony, Tommy, Zachary and Shane; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph S. Campbell and James E. Campbell and a sister, Theresa M. Dubreuil. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Percy J. and Mary C. (Suprenant) Campbell. She was a graduate of the former St. Mary's High School in Southbridge and was the class Valedictorian. She attended Worcester State College and Becker College. Mary worked at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge for several years prior to starting her family. She also sold real estate for Aucoin Realtors in Southbridge. Mary enjoyed politics and was the first woman to serve on the Southbridge Town Council. She also was a member and past president of the League of Women Voters in Southbridge and a member of the League of Women Voters in Martin County, Florida. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Southbridge and a member of St. Christopher's Church in Hobe Sound, FL. She was a member of the Southbridge Women's Club and the Harrington Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed golf and was a member of Cohasse Country Club in Southbridge. Mary also enjoyed wintering at Eaglewood, a golf community in Hobe Sound, FL. Mary was an avid bridge player. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, from in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 1 p.m. in St. Mary's Church of the Blessed John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge.
