Her gravestone lists her birthdate as 3 Oct 1880, but in the 1880 Census (Belmont County, Ohio, Mead Township, page 35) her parents gave it as Nov 1879, when everyone's memory was fresh with the event. Her parents moved to Wetzel County, WV, between 1880 and 1883. Etta was married to John "Walter" Amos, 21 May 1904, in Wetzel County, by "Marryin' Sam" Starkey, and they had three children before her death 13 Sept 1907 in a hospital in Wheeling:

3. John D. Amos born 28 Aug 1907 and died 10 Oct 1907, probably in Wetzel County, WV. He is also buried in Pricetown Cemetery.
