Loree Campbell Alexander, 91, a talented artist and a master gardener who had a life long love of animals died Wednesday, (February 16, 2005). She was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, George E. Alexander. Survivors include a son, George E. Alexander, Jr., of Scottsdale, AZ; one daughter, June Buckman and her husband, Joseph of Newport News; five grandchildren, Holly Tripp and her husband Doug of Land O'Lakes, FL, Matthew Buckman and his wife Anne of Lovettsvillle, Kristi Buckman of Yorktown, Mark Buckman of Jefferson, MD, Jonathan Buckman and his wife Jennifer of San Juan Capistrano, CA; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date in Connecticut. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities Norfolk VA Inc., 404 Colley Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23507 or Hole in the Wall Gang Fund, Inc., 555 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511.
