She was born on Jan. 23, 1932 in Fort Kent, ME, the daughter of the late Raymond and Georgianna Campbell. Prior to her retirement Viola was a nurse's aide. She loved to crochet.. Viola enjoyed having the opportunity to speak French with her close friend Fearl Theriault while discussing crocheting, gardening, etc. Viola's friend Eddie Sylvain had a unique relationship with her in the sense that each one always got the other laughing. The entire family extends gratitude to both of them for watching out for our mother. Viola enjoyed watching wrestling and playing cards her pet birds and gardening but most of all she loved to chat on her i-pad with her family and friends.
She is survived by 6 children, Joseph Ayotte of Leeds,ME, Arlene Smith of Bristol, William Ayotte and Wendy Mitchell of VT, Debra Ayotte and Dwayne Ayotte both of Bristol and Lisa Akers of Southington. She also leaves 2 sisters Yvonne Nadeau of Plantsville and Leona Ouellette of ME, 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and recently she became a great-great grandmother. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Lou Ayotte, 3 brothers and a sister.
