VIENNA, Va. - Vera T. Canova, 93, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001.
Born April 11, 1908, in North Carolina, she lived in Oceanside and moved to Vienna in 1997.
She produced and directed plays for Universal Productions. She was a real estate broker and a owner and director of Montvale Nursery School for 25 years.
She attended Anderson College, Women's College of North Carolina, Marjorie Webster College and Bank Street College.
Mrs. Canova was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Canova, and sister Margaret Light.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Gale and John Clarry; sister Elva Dance; and granddaughter and her husband Melissa Clarry and Greg Junge.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Hospices of the National Capital Region, 9300 Lee Highway, Suite 500, Fairfax, VA 22031.
Eternal Hills Mortuary is handling arrangements.
