Mrs. Annie Ray Pritchett Carey, 43, of Rt. 2, Carnesville died Wednesday at her residence following an extended illness.
She was a native of Franklin County and a daughter of Mrs. Reba P. Pritchett of Toccoa and the late John T. Pritchett. She was a member of the Union Ground Christian Church.
Surviving are her mother; Husband, Thomas "Jake" Carey; a brother George Pritchett of Carnesville; three sisters, Mrs. Lindsey Barnes and Mrs. Furman Holcombe of Toccoa and Mrs. Wedell Roach of Lavonia; a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion Methodist Church by the Revs. Robert Agner and Douglas Burns. Burial was in the Franklin Memorial Gardens.
Whitfield-Perkins Funeral Home, Cornelia was in charge of arrangements.
