Feb. 28th 1887, GRANDMA BOLAND in the 82nd year of her age. Some thirty years ago she in company with her husband, who survives her, emigrated from Ireland to Canada after a residence of ten years there they came to Iowa and have made this their home ever since. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and departed this life in the hope of being re-united with the members of her family gone before.
The funeral services, on Tuesday were conducted by Rev. Stewart, at the residence of her son Charles Boland, with whom she has been living for some time, after which the body was interred in the Williamsburgh Cemetry to sleep on until the glorious resurrection morn.
