Betty Lou Crawford, age 61 of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday December 27, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Born April 1, 1950 in Ballard County, Kentucky, Betty was a daughter of the late Alton and Sadie Loveland-Carmon. She was raised and educated in Braidwood, and married Robert Lee Crawford, who preceded her on January 15, 2000. Betty was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed playing bingo, shooting pool and dancing in her free time.

Survivors include her three children: Robert Alan Crawford and Kimberly Crawford, both of Wilmington and Crystal (Mike) Frazier of Manhattan; seven grandchildren: Joe Crawford, Josh Crawford, Stephanie Shaw, Aaron Shaw, Jacob Shaw, Tyler Frazier and Cody Frazier; two great grandchildren: Kadyn and Makynzi, with another on the way; three sisters: Linda, Gina and Patsy and two brothers: Donald and Alton, Jr., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband and one brother Ricky.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Friday December 30, 2011 from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service 2:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Brother Don Carr will officiate and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington.

Funeral services and arrangements have been made under the direction and care of Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington. (815/476-2181)
