Aaron Christopher Carr 29, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 14, 2012. Born in Fresno in 1982, both Aaron and his brother Derrell relocated to the southern California area when they were young. Raised by an upstanding and honorable grandfather, and father, Aaron assumed those same traits as he grew up and graduated from Upland High School. Aaron moved to Phoenix a year ago and was working for the Hyatt Hotel when he passed away. Aaron, fondly known as "Ern", had a lifelong love affair with the Philadelphia Eagles. His room, a virtual Eagles shrine, was a testament to Aaron's belief that (despite a mediocre 2011 season) his team would go to the Superbowl this and every year into the future. One of the hallmarks of Aaron's personality was his tendency to cry during survival of the fittest animal shows; the tenderness in his heart refused to root for anything other than the underdog. Aaron's compassion reached his friends, his co-workers and most importantly, his family. With razor sharp wit and a vocabulary unmatched, Aaron was a unique man who everyone was blessed to have come in contact with. Aaron is survived by his grandmothers, Hazel Jeffress and Mary Jo Siders, father Gary Carr and mother Susan Siders. He is also survived by his brother Derrell Carr (Renée Carr), brothers Clem and Kevin Johnson and by sisters Cayla, Lea and Jada Johnson. Aaron is survived by numerous cousins, including Nicole and Candace Cade and Jordan Jackson. Aaron is predeceased by grandfathers Alfred Carr and William Siders, and aunt Tammy Cade. A service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00am at Rose HIlls Memorial in Whittier, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations are made to help pay for final expenses. You may visit any Wells Fargo Bank, and donate to the "Aaron Carr Memorial" fund, account 1611002112 (you must have the account number). If you already have a Wells Fargo account, you can transfer donations online. Published in Inland Valley Daily Bulletin on February 21, 2012.
