Jean C. Baxter, 84, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 24, 2016 after a period of declining health.

Life:
She was born in Needham, MA on November 28, 1932, a daughter of Walter G. and Mary (Ferguson) Carre.
Following her retirement, Jean volunteered at the Elliot Hospital of Manchester, NH. She was a member of Carter Memorial United Methodist Church of Needham and later attended the Londonderry United Methodist Church, Londonderry, NH. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach in York, ME.

Family:
She is survived by her daughter, Linda J. Ryan and husband Joseph of Londonderry;
granddaughter, Kyle J. Ryan Lontine and husband Bernie of ME, and grandson, Dennis J. Ryan and his fianc, Carlie Vanasse of ME; three great-grandchildren, Bernie IV, Lucy, and Briggs Lontine, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jean is predeceased by her son, David S. Baxter in 2002 and by her five siblings.

Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday December 30, 2016 from 4-6 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
A memorial service will begin at 5:30pm.
Burial will be at a later date in Needham, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 25 Nashua Rd., #3, Londonderry, NH 03053.
