Ramón Carrillo y Martínez was born in Los Angeles County, the son of Eusebio Carrillo y Careaga (1831, Loreto, BC-bef. 1880, LA) and Francisca Martínez y García (1843, San José del Cabo, BC-aft. 1880, LA). Ramón married [1] Francisca Eslinda Candida Lugo y Machado in Los Angeles County on November 15, 1897. Ramón was also the father of Ysidro "Sid" Eugene Reyes, who was adopted by Ysidro Reyes. Sid's mother was Manuela "Nellie" Peña y Márquez.
