Connie was the daughter of the late J. Harrison and Hazel (Davison) MacFarlane.
Her first marriage was to Albert "Eric" Corbett, a resident of Alberton in P.E.I.'s West Prince County. Connie married her second husband, John Gordon Carruthers of Fernwood, P.E.I. in the United Church in Bedeque, P.E.I. on June 10, 1972.
Connie died in the Wedgewood Manor at Summerside, P.E.I. on February 26, 2010. She was predeceased by her brother Douglas MacFarlane on November 27, 1997.
