He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Carter; children, Beverly Harris (Clint), Danny Carter, and Gail Litteral (David); grandchildren, Christi Harris Altstadt, Summer Litteral Ross, Will Litteral, Erica Litteral; great-grandchildren, Austin, Ellie and Emma. Mr. Carter was a founding member of Cornerstone Church in Madison, and was retired from Ford Glass after 31 years. Interment Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
