Tojarick Jerome Atwaters, 23, of San Mateo, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Shands Jacksonville Medical center as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on County Road 210 in St. Johns County.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., he was born December 13, 1980 and was educated in the Fulton County, Georgia school system. He resided in San Mateo for the past two years. He was employed with the Superior Company of Jacksonville. His hobbies included riding his all-terraine vehicle. He attended Church of Christ Outreach Ministries.
Preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Qullar and Mart Atwaters.
Survivors are his mother and stepfather, Renetheia and Richard Sailor, San Mateo; father, Jerome G. Carter, Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Inesha Atwaters, San Mateo; brothers, Dequan Atwaters, Atlanta, Ga.; Rapheal Carter, San Mateo; paternal grandparents, Fred and Flora Carter, Atlanta, Ga.; fiancé, LaTashia Bady, San Mateo; and host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing services will be Saturday, Jan 10 at Flagg Chapel of Serenity with Rev. Keith Woodard, Minister, Church of Christ Outreach Ministries, as eulogist. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in San Mateo. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 9 Jan 2004.)
