Eileen C. Bazzachini 89, of Hibbing, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born to Bernard and Florence Casey in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, on Oct. 21, 1921.
She had been employed in the parts department at General Diesel and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Ellen is survived by her children: Linda (Bob) Strukel, Kathy Bazzachini, and John (Pam) Bazzachini; daughter-in-law, Janet Bazzachini; 11 grandchildren, Joe (Pam) Strukel, Ben (Ashley) Strukel, Katie (Steve) Maki, Theresa Strukel, Mary Strukel, Leah (Josh) Boldt, Emily, Erin, Bailey, Lauren and Jennifer Bazzachini; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred; her son, Vince Bazzachini; three brothers; and two sisters.
