FRANCES J. (CASTELLANO) CALARCO
Frances J. Calarco, 70, of 77th Street died Sunday (Nov. 2, 1997) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
The former Frances Castellano was born August 6, 1927, in Niagara Falls, the daughter of Luke and Francesca (Muscarella) Castellano. She graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School in 1945.
She married Patsy Calarco July 10, 1948. He died in 1992.
Mrs. Calarco was in her 39th year of working in the clerical department of Tops Markets.
Survivors include two sons, Michael of Lewiston and Jeffrey; three daughters, Kathleen Miller, Patricia Adams and Mary Jo Hurtt; two sisters, Mary Murdoch and Catherine Lill, both of Grand Island; and 11 grandchildren.
Mary Acito, who helped raise Mrs. Calarco, predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Macklem and College avenues, after prayers at 9:15 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
