Jennifer Lynn Busch (nee Castellano), age 41, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2016 at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. Jennifer was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on January 3, 1975. Jennifer is the mother of Faith, Jack, and the late Wyatt Busch, wife to the late Carroll Frederick “Fritz” Busch, and daughter of the late Mary Beth (nee Croshaw) and Jerome Castellano.
Jennifer attended St. Michael’s Jr.–Sr. High, where she graduated in 1993 with Honors, and continued on to attend New Mexico State University. She later met and married the love of her life, Frederick “Fritz” Busch, in 2003. Fritz passed away July 16, of this year 2016 at age 51.
In addition to raising and being deeply devoted to their children, Jennifer loved volunteering at Faith and Jack’s school; Childs Elementary, IU Volleyball, Girls Inc., and The Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington. She had a passion for horseback riding, tennis, and all things sports and outdoors. She loved to volunteer, organize, teach, or help in any way she could.
Jennifer worked as part-time security and stage hand at Indiana University’s IU Musical Arts Center. She worked with Fritz and is fondly remembered by The IU MAC family for bringing in treats and food to share with everyone. Jennifer and Fritz’s children spent countless hours at The MAC and have so many treasured memories.
Jennifer leaves behind her young children, Faith and Jack, grandmother Rebecca, mother-in-law Carolyn Busch, numerous friends, and family in New Mexico; George (Christy) Croshaw, Bea Castellano Lockhart, Joe Castellano, Mary Castellano , and numerous cousins; Evelyn Castellano, Camille Castellano, Helen Anderson, Keith Castellano, Carl Ortiz, and families. Jennifer was preceded in death by her son Wyatt, her husband Fritz, and her parents Mary Beth (Betty) and Jerome Castellano.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00am Saturday, October 1, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington, IN 47401. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Jack and Faith’s future education and life expenses by contributing to the GoFundMe account set up for Support the Busch Family Children @ www.gofundme.com/2rb36ess Information will also be available at Jennifer’s Memorial Service.
