LONG BEACH, Sept. 22--Mrs. Abby R. Castle, 56 years old, one of the best known women in this city, died this morning at her home on Pine avenue after an extended illness. Three children survive her--G. Olin Castle, Miss Ada Castle, a teacher in the Long Beach schools, and Miss Ollie Castle. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the family residence, the Rev. Will A. Betts officiating. Burial is to be in Sunnyside cemetery.
