BERNICE KUHN CASTO, age 93, passed away November 15, 2012.

She was born to the late Ambrose C. and Rebecca Snider Kuhn in Bexley, Ohio. After graduating from Bexley High School in 1937, she headed the addressograph department at Capital University for 10 years and then served as the secretary at Maryland Avenue Elementary School. Active member in the Bexley Woman's Club, Bexley Historical Society, Bexley Activities Club and past member of Daughters of the American Revolution. For nearly 70 years, she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Bernice embraced a full life which included gardening, traveling, watching OSU football, playing bridge, and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Raymond S. Casto and brother Harry S. Kuhn.

She is survived by only daughter, Kay (Jerry) Addy; granddaughters, Susan (Peter) Roberts of Bexley, Amy (Jon) Florio of Branford, CT, and Krissy (Jason) Black of Toledo; great grandchildren, Cayla and Nathan Florio, Hunter and Tyler Roberts, and Madison, Casey, and Kaleb Krasnow; and nephew, Jack C. Kuhn.

Friends may call Sunday, November 18 from 3-5 p.m. at WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL 2300 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Pastor Thomas Wolfe officiating. Private family burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may contribute to Christ Lutheran Church or charity of their choice.
