Durand, Feb. 6 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Baker Clark, former Durand resident who died Jan. 31 in Chehahs Wash. following a heart attack will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Durand Methodist Episcopal church with the Rev. L.E. Winter officiating. Burial will be in the Durand cemetery.

Mrs. Clark was born Oct. 16, 1860 in Indiana. She leaves a husband, E.H. Clark, two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Coley, who was with her mother in Washington, Mrs. Grace Langley, Durand; and a son, Charles Baker, Durand.

Mrs. Lena H. Clark, 71, died suddenly early Saturday morning at the family home on east Market Street, after having resided here the past 19 years. She is survived by the widower, C.H. Clark, and a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Coley of Chehalis. A daughter, Mrs. Grace Langley, and a son, Charles Baker, live at Durand, Ill. The body was removed to Boone's Mortuary, and Tuesday was shipped to Illinois for burial.

1920 & 1930 Census in Chehalis, Lewis County, Washington lists husband as Charles H Clark (born about 1866). In 1930, daughter Nellie was living with them. Both 1920 & 1930 list Lena's father being born in Vermont and her mother being born in Ohio.

1900 & 1910 Census in Durand, Winnebago County, Illinois lists Lena's father being born in Vermont and her mother being born in New York.
