Pansie Ellen Benedict, 78, of Stanford died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born July 1, 1923, in Catlettsburg, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth LeMaster Chapman.
She was a hotel housekeeper employed by Gateway.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Benedict.
Survivors include a daughter, Susie Campbell of Hustonville; two sons, Carl Benedict of Phoenix, Ariz., and Michael Benedict of Danville; a sister Fannie Mister of Newport; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by G.W. Smith. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery.
