ATWELL, MARY CATHERINE, 84, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at her residence. She was a retired Office Clerk for 30 years at Besinger's Furniture and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nora Chapman; a brother, John Chapman; and her husband, Bruce W. Atwell. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Richard) Karrer; and her son, Thomas (Susan) Atwell; her grandchildren, Holly (Todd) Maxwell, Melissa (Luke) Bakken, Josh Mendelsohn, John Stone and Sarah Petitt; great- grandchildren, Claire Maxwell and Ellie Maxwell; and sisters, Noni (Fred) Kelty and Frances (Melvin) Russ. Her Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 1010 Schiller Avenue at Kentucky Street, with burial to follow in Calvary cemetery. Her visitation will be noon -8 p.m. Friday at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison Avenues.
