Mrs. Aday passed away Monday at Ennis Regional Medical Center.

She was born in LaRue, Texas,Henderson County to R.A. and Georgia Nancy (Keyes) Chapman.

Mrs. Aday was a graduate of New York School in Henderson County.

On August 28, 1924, she married Wilma Christopher who preceded her in death in 1931.

She married J. W. Aday in September 1947 in Dallas; he preceded her in death in 1987.

During WWII she was an electrician for LTV of Grand Prairie and was later employed at Lee Clevenger Sewing Factory.

She has been a member of the College Street Church of Christ since 1959. Mrs. Aday was a member of the Rebekkas. Her hobbies were flowers and yard work.

She is survived by: daughter, Juanita Lowe and her husband James A. of Ennis; one sister, Earlene Evans of Garland; twelve grandchildren; and twenty plus great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; first and second husbands; one brother, Robert Chapman; three sisters, Alta Brown, Winifred Graham and Mary Etta Roby.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Thursday, January 8, 2004 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Owen Cosgrove and Walter Buchanan officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bill Learman, Ardell Christian, James Lowe, Jerry Poole, Kenny Hobbs and Keith Lowe.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Burial Park.
